Hello my name is Heather Gould (Ms G.). I have been a teacher for 13 years but this is my first year in the Topeka School District. I grew up outside of Topeka in a small town called Harveyville and graduated from Mission Valley High School. Prekindergarten is by far my favorite grade to teach. It is my chance to be silly and see the students learn daily. I love building relationships with my students and their families. It is true four year olds say the funniest things. I received my Elementary Education degree with an emphasis in Early Childhood from Emporia State and my Masters degree from Kansas State University.
Outside of the classroom I have two daughters; Bethany who is eight and Lizzie who is five. They keep my husband, Frank and I very busy. In my free time I enjoy reading, walking and watching movies.
My paraeducator is Deidre Augusto (Ms Augusto). Ms Augusto has been a para educator for three years. She was born and raised in Topeka and is a proud graduate of Highland Park… go Scots. During her free time Ms Augusto spends a lot of time with her family especially her niece Jayda.
